Hello board.

I am assisting relatives in completing their SET F application.

The mother = Right of Abode
The father = ILR

Son & Daughter = Leave to Remain and were under 18 when they first applied from their home countries.

I have a few questions and hoping someone can help.

1. Both son and daughter now over 18 work and earn their own money, so do the parents needs to show support. They both however, live with the parents and are unmarried.

2. As they were under 18 at first application, do they have to apply under their parents, if so which application is it?

3. On the current application that I have printed (SET F) it only has space to add one 'sponsor' do I need to add the second parent's details on a blank sheet of paper? Will this work and is it allowed?

4. How much do they need to show in terms of finances each or together with or without parents to prove maintenance?

Thank you in advance.
M.

That is fine. The kids over 18 should NOT be leading an independent life which means:
that the applicant does not have a partner as defined in Appendix FM; is living with their parents (except where they are at boarding school, college or university as part of their full-time education); is not employed full-time (unless aged 18 years or over); is wholly or mainly dependent upon their parents for financial support (unless aged 18 years or over); and is wholly or mainly dependent upon their parents for emotional support. Where a relative other than a parent may act as the sponsor of the applicant, references in this definition to “parents” shall be read as applying to that other relative.

They should apply each separately and on their own. They should apply under SET(F) online: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/set-f

ILR has no maintenance

Sorry, when you said ILR has no maintenance, does that mean they don't need to show any sort of finance at all?

at the time of the children's Entry clearance applications, then they should have granted the children ILEs.

Else, SET(F) is the correct application per child.

Adequate Maintenance and Accomodation, not leading an independent life, and KoLL, etc. required.
