Hi All,
Sorry I am posting here as I don't know where this topic will go.
Came in SEP 2009(Tier 4 for MSc)
ILR due in SEP 2019(10 years route)
I have a dependant(wife). She came UK in AUG 2017
So I asked 2 of the solicitors(different company) this question.
My Tier 2 has been curtailed till 7 JAN 2019 because company went bankrupt and licence expired in March 2018. So what are my options to stay here till i am due to apply ILR in SEP 2019?
Solicitor 1 suggested
Going for FLR (FP)
Solicitor 2 suggested
Going for set LR
We are confused.
Any suggestions on this?
Kind regards
kumar

You cannot apply for ILR as you don't meet the requirements of 10 years long residence yet.
On what basis do you believe you qualify for FLR FP??
You would have done far better to continue with your student visa application than FLR FP.

The only concern regarding Tier 4 is what if it gets rejected? I have previously done Msc(Computing). And current course is MBA. There is no academic progress. So they can reject my TIER 4 application right?

In addition to the above, did you do anything since March to find another sponsor?

As you will not be eligible under either routes, you will be certainly refused before Sep 2019.
However if you apply under SET(LR) you may get appeal rights in the UK, pursuing this could give you section 3C protection until Sep 2019 when you could potentially apply again and be granted ILR.
