Hi All,

I have been reading quite a bit on this forum and you guys are doing amazing work!!

I have a few questions as below please help!

Myself, wife, son arrived in UK on a 5 year Visa (Tier2 General) on the 7'th Sept 2014.
My second son was born on January 2016.

1. Myself, Wife, Son1 complete 5 yrs on 7'th Sept 2019 - Can I apply for ILR for myself and them on/ after 12 August 2019?
2. My second son was born in UK, we had to travel out of UK for 2 weeks so I had to make his Indian Passport and BRP valid till 13'th Sept 2019(same as my 5 yr visa) - Do I have to apply for for his ILR along with the rest of my family?
3. For English requirements - I will do the IELTS life skills test - Should I and my wife do the B2 level test?
4. I understand the ILR fees for the main applicant is £2389 + NHS surcharge - Is the fee for dependants different than the main applicant?

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards,
Zubba.

1. Yes if that is within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the first visa issue date.

2. No you don't, not if you plan on registering the child as british.

3. All applicants over 18 require the English B1 UKVI test AND LIUK test.

4. Each applicant must pay the same fee. There is no discount for families applying together. There is also no IHS payable for ILR. Fees also go up in April each year so the fee will change by the time you qualify.

IELTS UKVI - GENERAL TRAINING

Hi all,

Apologies if this question has been asked already.

I am due to apply for ILR Set(O) in this month.
I have done IELTS UKVI - GENERAL TRAINING (got a score of 7.0 - CEFR Level C1)

The gov.uk website confirms IELTS UKVI as an approved English Language Test.

My Question is whether IELTS UKVI means GENERAL TRAINING as well.?
On the IELTS website it says IELTS UKVI (Academic and General training)

Do I have to give another test for the language requirement?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If it was secure IELTS (SELT), then it is acceptable
