Dear all
Need your help please. Please go through my situation below and would appreciate if someone can answer my queries.
I came to UK on Tier 1 General visa, and I got my ILR in March 10, 2016 and currently am a british citizen.
My daughter and my wife are currently still on Tier 1 General Dep visa, and they will qualify for ILR in Oct 2018.

My daughter has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on Feb 13, 2016 and she was in a hospital A&E for 1 or 2 weeks and later discharged.

So its been around 3 years since she had diabtes. And when we admitted in hospital the doctors have stated that UK GOvernment provides free medicines for anyone who has Type 1 diabetes. Since then we have been receiving free medicines for her treatment every month from local GP & pharmacy.

Today someone posted a query related to ILR and claiming benefits. In for SET O, there is a question as listed below:
"Do you or anyone else who is part of this application recieve any public funds?"

In our case my daugheter is on Tier 1 G Dep visa and we started taking free medicines since Feb 2016, which is exactly around 1 month before I received my ILR.

Could you please tell me for above query, do we have to say YES or NO, and could you tell me if receiving free medicines is equal to Receiviing public funds?

FYI please...I am claiming child benefits after I got my ILR. And my daughter is currentlly 8 years old.

I am bit nervous if this would impact her ILR application this year? If it does impact, what are my options to fix the issue?

Please could anyone reply to my query.

Thanks again for all the help.

Dear All
In addition to my original post, some more information for your reference.
Type 1 Diabetes is considered as a Disability in UK and Govt in UK offers Disability living allowance to parents. Based on our Hospital's advise, I applied for DLA after I received my ILR, but our application has been refused by citing my daughter is still on Tier 1 Dep visa and not a permanent resident or British citizen yet.
In her first Tier 1 Dep visa application, the IHS fee was not introduced at that time, but last time when I renewed her visa, I did paid IHS fee surcharge of around £600 for 3 years.

Please could you review all the information I posted in above two posts and let me know your views please.

Thanks again.
