Self employed and hmrc

Hi
My freind will submit the ilr application in few days he is in tier 2 visa.
7 years ago my freind was in tier 5 visa and he started working in company as self employed (he don't no that it's self-employed), he worked only for two hours and the company payed him 17£.
He didn't mention this incone to hmrc, do you think this will affect his ilr application?
