UK born Kids/ILR pending

Dear senior members
I have a query regarding my UK born kids. I have applied on Oct 18. My application is still pending in a home office. My one son is 10 years now born in UK, he has PBS dependent visa which is expiring in a week.
My second son born in the UK is 3 years old also having PBS dependent visa which also expires in a week.
We did not send their application for ILR with us. Should I apply for their ILR now or they don't need to because they will be eligible for naturalization once I receive ILR. Please advise me as I am really confused now.
