ILR application query

Hi Gurus,

I have a concern and please help me on what to expect.
I will be applying for ILR in 15days. My SOC code is 2136 and my salary has been the same from 2013- October 2018 with 34000 and got a recent increment of 2k to satisfy ILR salary requirement as part of annual appraisal.

Company HR is going to update SMS this week with latest salary.

Could you please provide your input if this salary increment alerts the case worker when I apply for ILR in another 15days?

Thanks

Yes your sponsor could be investigated and their certificate of sponsorship could be cancelled. Raising salary to enable you to get ILR is not viewed favourably by the HO

I will be having 4 months payslips with new salary by the time I apply for ILR. I am worried now. Anyone with similiar situation as mine had successful application result. Please provide your inputs.

1. As the salary was incremented as part of annual appraisal. Should I ask my HR not to update SMS?
2. Should I delay applying for ILR by couple of months?

Please help!!

Hi,

I read somewhere in the post that the salary in CoS is nothing to do with ILR as far as I remember. if the last 3 month pay slip matching with ILR requirement that should be fine.

Even if they mention in this in company letter, that should be fine with proper explanation.

Experts pls correct me if i am wrong.

Where has the OP referred to the CoS??

The salary must meet the ILR requirement OR what is stated in the SOC, whichever is higher. So yes, the SOC is important!!

For experience person for that SOC salary as 34k and last three payslip met the ILR required salary for example 3k per month in payslip.

That should be fine to process right.

ILR application query

Hello moderators,

I am in middle of ILR application. Appointment is booked on 14Feb. I am working in same company since past 6 years with PSW and Tier-2 with 34K salary.
I am little worried as my salary was incremented from 34k to 36K in October2018 first time as part of annual increment. I am showing 3months payslip with new salary.

Will it be any issue and if there is anything I can do before attending the appointment just to avoid redflag to CW?

Other documents supporting my application are
1. Life in the UK pass certificate
2. MSc degree cert
3. Employer reference, absence letter
4. Company merger and its licence info(as my company was acquired by another)
5. BRP
6. Bank statements - from bank but not stamped or signed as the bank said they dont do it anymore.
7. Salary slip - 3months
8. Electricity bill-3months

Please let me know if I am missing anything and appreciate your valuable comment especially on the salary hike front.

Though it's not a huge jump (compared to your initial salary) it clearly stands out that this hike is given just a few months before ILR application.

I think it depends on the case worker and how keenly they observe the salary change.

When does your current visa expire? I don't think you can do much apart from applying and seeing what happens.

There's no point in bumping the post. MJBangalore will no doubt respond if he chooses to log on to the forum, but he hasn't visited since Feb 12th.
