ILR and change of employer on Tier 2 visa

Hello everyone
I am on the Tier 2 visa and had a change of employment which resulted in the following dates:.
1st visa - from 02/08/2017 to 20/08/2020
2nd visa - from 29/03/2018 to 18/06/2021
Please, can someone help me with these doubts:
- Should my previous stays in the UK (2010 - Tier 4, six months and 2015 - Tier 5, one year) be included in this calculation?
- I know I have to renew the Tier 2 visa to complete the 5 years, should I do it for one more year only?
- When is my deadline for ILR application?
- As my job is the shortage occupation list, I believe I'm exempt from the minimum earnings threshold.
Thank you
Lyla

No, Tier 4 and Tier 5 do NOT count for 5 years ILR. You need 5 years on Tier 2 before you will be eligible for ILR or you need 10 years of legal stay to qualify for ILR based on long residence if you meet the long residence requirements. Usually useful to state what route for ILR you are asking about.
- I know I have to renew the Tier 2 visa to complete the 5 years, should I do it for one more year only?
No. You don't qualify for ILR until July 2022 based on 5 years on Tier 2.
- When is my deadline for ILR application?
You can apply no sooner than within 28 days of the 5th anniversary of your initial Tier 2 visa issue date. You can apply later but must apply before your visa expires. You can only hold a Tier 2 General visa for 6 years.
- As my job is the shortage occupation list, I believe I'm exempt from the minimum earnings threshold.
Yes, as the rules stand now. What is your SOC??
It would also be useful to state what your full and exact UK immigration history history is with all the relevant visa start and expiry dates etc.

Hi CR001
Thank you for your reply.

I inted to apply for ILR using the Tier 2 visa 2 route.
Yes, as the rules stand now. What is your SOC??
My SOC is 2231.
It would also be useful to state what your full and exact UK immigration history history is with all the relevant visa start and expiry dates etc.
My UK immigration history is described below:
Tier 4 visitor student - from 05/10/2010 to 04/04/2011
Tier 5 temporary worker - from 22/07/2015 to 22/07/2016
As you said the time under this visas doesn't count for ILR.
Tier 2 general worker - SOC 2231 - from 04/08/2017 to 03/09/2017
Then I changed to a new employer:
Tier 2 general worker - SOC 2231 - from 29/03/2018 to 18/06/2021
Therefore I must apply for an extension of the Tier 2 visa for up to 3 years in June 2021 and apply for ILR before 08/2023, right?
Many thanks
Lyla
