Can my sponsor travel during my ilr application?

Hi, it's my first time to be here. Hope I post my question in right forum.
I am now applying ilr after my 5 years spouse visa. Still waiting for the bank statment and I will upload all the documents. I plan to use the UKVCAS services as we can keep our travel document. My husband may need to go for a business trip in March.
I know I cannot travel during my ilr applications. But can my husband, who is my sponsor of my ilr, travel during the application? Otherwise we have to pay for the super priority service which cause huge financial burden to our family. I have been searching on the internet and no answer on the gov.uk website. We can't risk it because we have a 4 years old son to take care.
