Hi,

I moved to UK in December 2010 on tier 2 ICT visa then switched to General in April 2015. I can only apply for ILR in UK in 15months time, however I recently got to know that Jersey considers UK ICT stay if it was issued before 2015.

Has anyone applied for ILR in Jersey based on UK stay? Is it a reliable option to avail? I have been on company sponsored visa for 8 years! Quite keen to be in visa free situation. Any help will be hugely appreciated

If someone is already in Jersey with a work permit, then any time spent before in the UK under Tier 2 ICT granted before 1 January 2015 counts towards ILR in Jersey.
