Employer letter format for ILR T2 - 5Y route

Hi guys,
My company has provided the following letter template to include both absence and salary details etc.

RE: Mr xxxx, DOB: xxx

National Insurance No.: xxxx
In support of Mr xxx application for permanent residence in the UK XXX as his current employer confirms the following:
1. That the above named commenced working at xxx on 23 September 2013, he is employed as a Senior Web Developer on a permanent full-time basis. Weekly hours of a notional 37 hours per week, 52.143 weeks per year. His salary is therefore based on 1929 hours (per year).
2. The Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code which best describes the employment is SOC 2137 Web design and development professionals. Mr xxxx was continually sponsored under this SOC code.
3. Mr xxxx current annual salary is £36,000.00 per annum. This sum exceeds the salary requirement required by Tier 2 and his applicable SOC code (2137).
Further to your requirements, I can confirm that Mr xxx has been away from the UK during the following periods for the reasons stated beside each date:
Date depart from UK
Date arrive in the UK
Reason for Absence
Mr xxx is still required for the employment in question for the foreseeable future.

Thanks Zimba - wondered if it's required to have written 'paid annual leave' for the absences?
Entering absence dates in ILR form - T2 Set O

I'm in the process of compiling a list of absences to get certified by my company and also to enter in the online form. My question is, for example if my date of leaving the UK fell on a Saturday and return is on the following weekend. Although the number of days I was away from the UK is six or seven days, the number of approved holidays from work is only five days as company is not open on weekends. Therefore, should I include the actual date of leaving the uk and returning in the online form, and enter only those dates I have had to take days-off for the letter from the company?

For UK absence, the date of departure and date of arrival is not counted. Only days between are counted. You must mention original exit/entry dates from UK on the online form though.

Thanks for the quick response tier11417. Does that mean I will have two different sets of dates for a particular trip? For instance, if I was away for two weeks, leaving on Saturday 1st of a certain month and returning on the 15th, the format for online form would be 1st May ---> 15th May whereas on the employer letter it'd be like 3rd May (Monday) ---> 14th May (Friday) ---> 10 days holiday? Is that correct or have I make it more complicated than it needs to be?

I am not really aware of the exact requirements for employer letter and your specific category so I really cant comment further. As of my personal opinion your dates should match the employer letter but I will leave it for others to advise further.
Bank statements printed for a date range - T2 ILR supporting docs

Hi all,
For ILR T2 supporting documents I'm planning to get a printout stamped by the bank for a specific
period (Feb 1st to March 1st) as my monthly bank statements run from 24th of each month and this
doesn't show my latest pay coming in as we get paid on the last day of the month.Is this an acceptable format?
