hello dear fellows,
I need a bit guidance about my wife ILR five year time period. I was on tier 1 entrepreneur when I got married my wife got a entry clearance on DEC 2014 as a partner of tier 1 entrepreneur. then in DEC 2016 we applied for an extension under tier 1 entrepreneur and got it extended till JAN 2018. afterwards in October 2017 I have got my settlement under 10 long residency route. then in JAN 2018 I have switched my wife category on 5 year partner route of a settled person which got her 2.5 years visa. now I just need to know does she has to continue to the 5 year route and apply for extension for another 2.5 years and then apply for ILR or is there any way she can apply for ILR considering all that period she had been in UK as my partner? In short does her 5 year count starts from entry clearance in UK as partner or the time when she switched the category?

thanks a lot. guidance will be much appreciated.

Since you got your ILR via LR basis your wife had to be switched over to the partner route as you did in Jan 2018. However, she will need to stay in UK for 5 years on this route to qualify for ILR that will be in Jan 2023.
