Good morning all,

Please need an advise.

I came to UK in 2010 with Student visa,
2011 I switch to Post study for 2 years,
2014 I switched to spouse visa for 5 years.
2017 relationship broke down and my spouse visa was curtailed few months before applying for ILR.
2018 I switched to parent of a British child. I was given the first 2.5 years such will run till 2020 October.

My question is will it be possible for me to apply for ILR base on 10years legal stay in the UK by February 2020 or the 4 years spent on spouse visa does not count any more because of the curtailment?

Many thanks for your help.

If always applied before visa expiry, then your 10 years is preserved. All lawful stay count towards the long residence

Good morning/ sorry to trouble you.

I came to UK in 2010 with Student visa,
2011 I switch to Post study for 2 years,
2014 I switched to spouse visa for 5 years.
2017 relationship broke down and my spouse visa was curtailed few months before applying for ILR.
I applied few weeks after I received curtailment letter as parent of a British citizen.
2018 I switched to parent of a British child. I was given the first 2.5 years which will run till 2020 October.

My question is will it be possible for me to apply for ILR base on 10years legal stay in the UK by February 2020 or the 4 years spent on spouse visa does not count any more because of the curtailment?

If yes can I apply and switch to ILR while I still have a valid visa for 7 months?

Many thanks for your help.
