Applied online in September 2018.
Still waiting.
Received letter asking about the whereabout of my UK born son in November 2018. Responded that I would apply for his British passport after I get ILR.
Received complex letter in January 2019.

I’m Tier 2 to ILR set(o)
My baby born in Oct 2018
Applied for ILR on 21 March 2019 super priority route.
I received “complex issues” email on the same day.
I did not receive any such email so far about my baby.
But I have the same intention like yours - apply British Citizen after I got ILR.

Applied in August' 2018
Complex letter received after 3 weeks
Wrote letter to home office after 4 months for status update, next day they replied same complex letter
Call home office after 6 months, they replied (visa still in process)
Now 7 months plus no result.

seems like 2017- early 2018 decisions were faster comparatively and the decisions for late 2018-2019 are taking long

So did you get the approval now? and how long does it took after getting the complex letter please?
