Self employment: which tax year accounts to use?

Good afternoon all,

I am on a 5 year spouse route for ILR. I am eligible for ILR on 15 March 2019.

To prove the financial requirement, I will be using my husbands accounts as he is self employed. His last financial year has ended December 2018. His accountants only sign them off mid 2019 and corporation tax is only due September 2019. So I cant prove these two documents in March 2019.

Can I use the previous years accounts which ended December 2017 as proof as can get hold off all these documents for that period?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Morning all,

Quick confirmatory question:

ILR spouse 5 year route - initial entry date to UK was on 11 April 2014.

Can I submit my application online today under the 28 day rule?

Thank you in advance.

You could have applied in March already, within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date you entered the UK.
