Immigration status

Hi
I am applying for ILR LR (10 years base). I have a little confusion about immigration status question in the form.
As i applied for tier 1 entrepreneur extension in feb 2017 which i varied in 2018 aug to flr fp.
In the form the question is do you have visa or leave to enter or remain in uk? I said yes
Then next question is what is the end date for your most recent visa which i have given.
Then in the form further question is was there a reason beyond your control why you did not apply before your visa expired? And they need evidences as well.
But i applied before time. And still they need justification. What would be appropriate answer for it?
