Hi all, my timeliness is
Arrived in uk 9/5/2009 tier4
Psw 2012
Tier1 2015
Extension applied July 2018 pending
As per guidance rules I will be eligible to apply for ilr on 12th April 2019. With my extension I applied for my wife's dependent visa aswell.
1. If I vary my application how will it affect my wife's dependent application ?
2. Or if I apply for ilr will they give my any option in online form to apply for her visa under some different category?
Looking forward for help from members. Thanks

When you vary to SET(LR) your wife needs to vary to FLR(M). A letter should be included with her application to ask HO to keep her application until yours is decided

Thanks Zimba. As far as I understood it means when I will make my application online I should request HO to keep her application until mine is decided.
I got masters degree from UK and passed my life in uk test. are these the only requirements other thn 10 year continuous residence?

Both have to apply separately and the letter should be included with her application. You simply need passports, LUIK and English language

Children acquire parents' nationality at birth. They are not stateless :?

Hi Akmal,
I am exactly in the same position. but a single application.

here is my timeline, in short,
came to UK on 26 th January 2009 tier 4 student
student ext in 2010
psw came on 4th march 2011 expired on 4 th march 2013

.
.
.
tier1 ent came on 17 th july 2015
tier 1 entrepreneur extension made on 21 July 2018
varied my application to 10 years
set(lr) application as a super priority made on 15Jan 2019

till now no response and they haven't even returned the application fee of the earlier one also.

I spoke to them a couple of times they told me their standard line "APPLICATION IN PROCESS"
waiting for the answers from the home office but no answers..

We have same timeline. Strange it's been 4 months. One of my friend have same situation (varied app from t1 extension to set lr) but he got ilr within 5 days. I guess nothing we can do except wait. Didn't understand this super priority service at all. Stay in touch if you get any update and good luck

It seems it is going to be more delay with my application. Received email yesterday from HO saying that they have my 2 applications (extension and ilr) and which one I want to proceed with. Replied to proceed with ilr and they said they will forward my application to relative dept. now

I haven't got any refund or any contact from them afterwards. And I guess there is no point of contacting them because their reply will be same"

yes, I have tried to contact them, the call center guys saying the same thing, the application still under process,
let's tag the moderators or senior members of the board who have more information from this issue.
there was a thread last year same time but that was closed now.
hope someone will respond to this thread if we tag them.
any updates as of today.

Many Many congratulations.

I know you varied your Tier1 application to ILR (LR), Did you receive refund of your Tier 1 extension fee?

Also as they did not make decision of your application within 24 hours, did you receive your super priority refund?

I had same situation like you and received the email on the same day of appointment from HO, that they cannot make decision within 24 hours and require more time to decide the application.

No refund yet. They take about 3-6 week . Also I didn't receive any email before that my application is complex so hopefully I will get the super priority refund aswell

For your application, isn’t it more than 6 weeks?
By the way how do they refund the fee?
By check or credit the account from where the fee was paid?
Any idea?

Regarding Super priority service , they replied me within 3 hours of appointment time, that they need more time to decide the application. Would I be able to claim super priority refund ?
