ILR Advice needed please

Hi there,

I am desperately in need of advice to apply for ILR

I came to the UK as a minor(16) in 2002 and sought asylum. I was then given exceptional leave to remain, which lasted for 1.5 years until my 18th birthday. My application was then revisited by the HO and refused. I went through the whole court appeal process unsuccessfully, which lasted for a few years. I've continued working and living in the UK paying taxes using the NI number I have acquired while I had my ELR back in 2002. After fresh application made in 2011 was initially refused based on incompetent legal team document/details mixing up, I have changed lawyers and went to the high court to be awarded a 2.5 yrs discretional leave to remain in 2014. I have then again successfully manage to apply a 2.5 yrs exceptional leave to remain. This is now about to expire and I would like to know if I am eligible to apply for ILR based on living in the UK for 17 years. Would my ELR back in 2002 count towards the 6 years the HO requires? If not would applying for another extension and wait for 1 more year qualify me as "6 years if you applied on or before 8 July 2012" route? This would be based on my fresh application initially made in 2011, which took some turns before the leave to remain award in 2014.
Greatly appreciate any advise

Kind Regards
Michael

To make it simple to follow the whole story

Aug 2002 - Arrived in UK
Nov 2002 -1.5 years Exceptional leave to remain awarded
2004 - Asylum case refused
2004-2011 continued living and working with NI number in the UK even after asked to leave the country
2011 Fresh application
2011-2014 Application denied and high court
2014 Discretionary leave to remain awarded 2yrs and 4m
2016 exceptional leave to remain awarded 2yrs and 6 months
