Hi,
I am applying for SET(O) ILR
Current Visa tier 2 dependent
Husband visa ILR since April 2017

We both are working. MY CURRNT SALARY 35400 N HUSBANDS CURRENT SALARY 51010 +6000 CAR ALLOWANCE.
Husband salary was 50,000 + 6,000 car allowance till October 2018. Since his salary was below child care benefit threshold we applied for child care benefit which we are availing from May 2017. P60 for 2017-2018 form suggests total salary 50, 700 although this is not actual gross salary 700 would be mostly OT.
Should he have filed the self assessment tax for 2017-2018 for child care benefit.?

His salary increased in Oct 2018 to 50,500 + 6000. Further to this he had increment in March as well which increased his salary to 51010 +6000 car allowance. We are aware we are suppose to fill now for 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 . However we haven't till now as I think we can fill till October 2019. Is this correct?

We both also avail maximum possible child care vochures as well. Child care vouchers are supposed to be declared. I know there is question for child care benefits but do child care vochures are also to be declared?

please let me know what tax should I have filed so that there are no rejection due to this for my Set O form for ILR.

ANYOTHER THING WHICH I SHOULD KNOW FOR FILLING ILR W. R. T TAX/CHILD CARE BENEFITS?

Tax issues must be discussed with a suitable professional as they are not relevant to immigration.
If child benefit was claimed by your husband only, then this should have no effect on you

Thank you for reply. Yes child benefit was availed by husband only. Can you please let me know if child care vouchers are to be declared in my SET(O) form?

You follow the guide given to the benefit claimant by the government.

HMRC use their Real Time Information system to issue any fines.

In future your husband should look into paying more into his pensions to reduce his earnings, to receive full Child Benefit. There will be lots of articles on which pensions are allowed for this.
