Hello, my husband is currently on Tier 2 Visa and has a valid Visa until 2020. However, in November, he finished his 10 year in the UK and applied for ILR on the 15th November. He now needs to travel abroad for business and it is likely that his application will be concluded when he is away.
In this case, can he travel abroad?
If his ILR is given when he is away, his his Tier2 still valid and can enter to the UK, or he needs his ILR to able to enter to the UK?
Is there any risk to travel abroad?
Thanks in advance
Regards

If he travels out of the UK, his ILR application will likely be considered withdrawn.

Even if you leave the UK for 25 hours your application gets withdrawn.

Yes. Do not leave the UK if you have a pending application

Thank you everyone for your replies. His visa has just arrived on time before he needs to travel :)
