TIER 1 ET to ILR - query about lack of continous job

Hi,
I am on Tier 1 ET visa currently and have job in IT sector. I am eligible for ILR in 3 years. Do i need to be on continous job in UK for 3 years for ILR or any break in between will do?

You mean you have an employee or are you yourself employed while on your Tier 1 Ent visa??

I myself is employed with IT firm and having Tier 1 ET visa. My query - Is it mandatory to be on job for entire 3 years on continous basis to get the ILR after 3 years or break is allowed e.g. 2-3 months in between during 3 years?

The op is on tier 1 exceptional talent (ET) and not tier 1 entrepreneur.

“Original poster” that is you. I myself got confused as you were on Tier 1 Entrepreneur which is not the case. Thanks CR001 for the clarification.

Yes my query is about Tier 1 Exceptional Talent. Can someone please clarify urgently if it is mandatory to have continous job for ILR under this visa or gap is allowed?

Does it matter given that you posted recently that you received an RCoS approved with 26 points in the may allocation for a tier 2 general visa???

I don't have experience of this visa category.
The rules merely state your current or most recent employment must be in your endorsed field and you must still be endorsed at the time of ILR, as far as I understand.
Immigration rules part 6a if you want to search for them.
