Need help for ILR application and language requirement !!!

Hi there all experienced or experts !!
I came UK on tier 4 in 2009 and completed master degree 2012 and then switched to PSW and after that now I hold a tier 2 general visa from sep 2014 and I am thinking to apply for ILR next month hopefully , I just passed my life in uk test.
my query is do I need to do English test also ??
or I get exempt because I have done master degree taught in English in this country and I have all the certificate.
Also I been in holiday to my country two times for a month each (in year 2016 and 2018) from previous company and current company but I have no holiday letter for proof except some stamps on my passport (arrived /departure etc). Is it really important to have holiday letter for proof being not at work even it was paid holiday ?? thing is my salary has never stopped during I am on tier 2 because both holidays were paid.
