Home Address Question on ILR (Ancestry)

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can assist me with a question. I'm hoping I've not made a dreadful mistake. I am putting through my ILR application in around two months. I am in the UK on an ancestry visa, and am close to my 5 year term. Over the past 4 months, I have moved in with my partner, who has been asked by a friend living in NY to look after her flat whilst it's on the market and assist with the sale. We've been very lucky as this has been rent-free arrangement. Prior to that, I've had various different rentals in London over the past five years. I knew we would be here for a few months at least so I changed all of my corresponding addresses (bank, drivers, etc) to the current residence.

I see now on the application that you must expand on the nature of the residential property. Whether the property is family, owned, rented or other. What should I put down here? I'm very concerned as we have done nothing illegal, but am truly nervous there could be an implication to my application.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
J

Simply put the exact details. Not a deal breaker for ilr.

Thank you so much. So in my explaination for other, I should state, "I'm staying with my partner, (name). We are looking after her friends property, (friends name), whilst the house in on the market for sale. Prior to March, I was in a rental property."

Would that suffice? Do I need any other supporting docs?

Yes fine. No documents needed. Your friend can write a letter if you wish.
