I am Sri lankan. My Super Priority Service ILR application was refused due to these reasons. I am in UK for 13 years but on October 2011, I applied in time for leave to remain as a Tier 4 student, however my application was rejected on 11/11/2011 as I failed to complete mandatory section this resulted in my application being treated as invalid and then I submitted on 22/12/2011 because of English B2 certificate. It is noted my application was submitted 52 days after my lawful leave to remain in the UK had expired,30/10/2011 and 40 days after the rejection of my application on 11/11/2011. but my application was successful and they were granted leave to remain on 21/03/2012.They are telling i have held continuous lawful leave to remain in UK since this date. they have given appeal rights. my current visa is going to finish end of this month.can i apply any other visas? or if I apply appeal, can I win ? thank you.

Expiry 30/10/11
Rejection: 11/11/11-
Resubmit: 22/12/11- over stayed more than 28 days.
Were you not given the chance to rectify the invalidity then?
Weren’t you warned in the refusal letter then?
What’s ur current status?
Any family ties?

The decision is correct given an invalid application does NOT lead to section 3C extension. This means when you apply and then your application is returned as invalid, it is as if you never made that application. Please share your immigration history so that you can get better advice
