ILR 28 day period.

Hi, can any one kindly help with relevant info.
I'm due ILR around this period.
tier2 general granted 0n 26th august 2014.
date of entry into the uk 5th september 2014.

on the form SET O question is when did you enter the UK (this is used to count the qualifying period)

Also on their guidance it states the date of the entry clearance can be used but not sure.

Kindly advise.

The question asks for date of entry, then put date if entry. HO know the rules about the 28 days etc.

sorry, I didn't quite get ur reply.
does that mean 28 days can start counting from the date the initial visa was granted- 26th Aug 2014.

You can apply no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the initial visa issue date.

This is a separate thing to the question in the form of the date you entered the UK.
