Switching to 10 Years ILR from T1E 5 Years Route

I have applied for ILR on 5th April 2019 as T1E 5 years route, every month I get an email from home office which states decision may take up to 6 months. My entry to the UK was 24th September 2009, so I believe I can apply for ILR 10 years route 28 days before, which is 28th August 2019, am I right or wrong ?
Do you think switching to 10 years route is a good idea ? What If I apply for 24 hours premium service, do they still ask for or check T1E documentations ?
Also my wife applied for ILR with me, as she was at the same category T1E dependant for 5 years, If I switch to 10 years route, what would be her options ?
Many thanks.

The process you are describing is NOT called
switching but it is called
variation.
I suggest to be patient and wait. The timeline post shows that most Tier 1E applicants get their ILR around the 6 months mark.
By varying to SET(LR) your wife will not be able to get ILR

If I decide to vary, does she needs to apply as dependant with me at the same time or she can vary later once I get my ILR approved ?

Should vary to Flr(m) same time..otherwise risk of refusal, overstayer and loss of fee on Tier1 dep.
better to wait.

Under SET(LR) you must apply
on your own and qualify
on your own (no dependants)
Dependant must then switch to the spouse/family route which resets the ILR clock

1st T1E visa was refused on 22-May-2013, 31-May-2013 Pre Action Protocol Sent. 26th July JR applied as I had no right to appeal.
HO negotiated and issued visa on April 2014 without hearing or proceed to the court. HO requested me to withdraw the JR, once I did, I have been asked to send all bank statements and other business related documents that proves my investment, Which I did and got my visa approved.
Could you please confirm 3C status on that situation, was it intake ?
I am waiting as you suggested me to wait 6 months.
Thanks in advance.

When HO reconsiders and grants visa, technically it is as if your application was never refused so all the time spent will be considered under section 3C
