Hi
Could someone let me know how to answer the family and friends questions on the online form? The questions are very different to the paper form.
Also want to know what the process is after you fill the online form. Do you need to scan the supporting documents and upload them?
Any help would be much appreciated as some of you may have gone through this process recently and successfully.
Thanks

ILR SET (M) Family and Friends details

Hi
Is it enough to give only the names and phone numbers of friends? Or do we need to give their address as well?
As regards family members is it ok just to give your immediate family details? Just the name, relationship to self and their phone number.
What document does one give for a national identity card issued by your country? India, to be specific.
An early reply will be much appreciated
Thanks

1.

wouldn’t want to be your friend!
No specificities required. That is not the purpose of the question.
2. Only relationship e.g immediate family, relatives, friends
3. No need for that either. Just answer no.

Thanks very much for your response.
You have no need to fear on the first point
I gather it's just the names and relationship to self then. Under the 2 categories.

I fear for your friends privacy as you seem to be very comfortable passing on their personal details

Anyways you’ve missed the point.
What exactly are the questions?
Do they specifically ask for names?
They just want to know if you have friends or family in the country you’ve lived in.
The simple answer is yes, school friends, college friends, colleagues.
Yes.. parents, siblings some relatives.

Hi,
They have asked to provide the following details for family and friends.
List of names
Where they live
How you are related to them
What type of contact you have with them
The next question is:
Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?
This could include social networks or connections to any of these countries.
Looks like they want us to be very explicit about these matters.
Could someone who has gone through this application kindly advise on this matter?
Thanks.
