Below are the details

Main Applicant:
Visa type: Tier 2 General
Visa start date: 08/Nov/2014
UK on arrival date: 09/Nov/2014
Visa expiry date: 19/Dec/2019
ILR eligibility date: 14/Oct/2019

Dependents:
Visa type: Tier 2 General pbs dependent partner and child
Visa start date: 21/Jan/2015
UK on arrival date: 05/Mar/2015
Visa expiry date: 19/Dec/2019

Could you please let me know the options available for dependent ilr. Do I need to go another renewal or can we apply ilr for dependents without another renewal if yes there is shortage of 5 days as visa expires before eligible for ilr.

Your dependants must complete 5 years for ILR. They must extend under PBS dependant until eligible for ILR

Thank you for quick response Zimba.

I also understood that I can apply and pay for ilr before visa expires and book an appointment for biometrics after eligibility I.e.. apply before 19/Dec/2019 and biometric after 25/ Dec/2019. Is that a valid process?

If I would like to go for visa renewal. Do I need to pay ihs fee for another 1 year only or for three years? Do I need to pay ihs fee for child as well?

1. Yes
2. Yes. If you vary before decision on ext than you should get ur fees back.

Although the day of application is considered the date of submission.. caseworkers are advised to calculate continuous period from day of consideration/decision that benefits the applicant.
You must, however apply before valid visa expiry to extend leave under 3C.
