Hi,
I came to this country in 23 September 2010, I will be completing my 10 years by September this year.
And now my current Tier 2 General Visa will be expired by 14 july 2020. As i didn't met the required salary for ILR I missed that route. I still need two months visa in order to complete 10 year period. I dont have a family here, i am single. Can someone please give me an advice on how i can overcome this situation.
Appreciated in advance!

Just stumbled on this post, as years ago I was in the same situation, short of 39 days for making my 10th anniversary. Long story short I didn't apply extension instead applied ILR on SET LR. That was back in 2014.
Good luck

You can apply ILR 28 days before completing 10 years from the date of entering to UK which in your case will be on 26 August 2020 means you are 43 days short. Maybe by applying on 14th July 2020 then booking the biometrics appointment on that date when you will qualify may work for you because you should be eligible for ILR on the date of decision (Few years ago it wasnt like that but recently many members got success through this strategy and the same is also contained in official guidance)

Start Date for 10 Year Long Residence for ILR

Hi ,
Can someone please clarify my doubt on this.
What is the exact start date to consider for 10 Year Long Residence ILR. Is it the date that visa is valid from or the date that we entered the UK.
In my case on my visa stamp i could see that :
Visa Valid From : 30 Aug 2010
Entry Date: 23 Sep 2010
So based on this when would be qualifying date for the 10 year route for ILR.
Thank You !

You were already provided with an answer when you asked the same question in February!! It is date of entry that counts.
