Without a valid brp how will you prove your right to work?

Buying a car is irrelevant to the immigration forum.

You are still required to prove your right to work, regardless of what visa type you held that has expired. With an expired spouse visa brp and no ilr brp yet, you don't have any physical evidence.

A potential new employer might do an online right to work check, which takes a few days, but they don't have to if they choose not to do it and employ someone else.

My new employer has contacted employee checking service and hoping to get reply soon. So
hopefully if she get a positive verification then would I be allowed to switch job.
Thanks

Unless a family business almost no new employer will employ a new person without a physical visa on BRP. Usually section 3C easily silence an old employer but isn't sufficient enough for new employer due to the risk of hefty penalties.
