Hi All,

My friend is going to apply for the ILR in the next couple of months. Due to nationwide lockdown, his employer would put him on furlough for at least 4 weeks. As we all know that the minimum salary threshold for a British citizen to apply for the ILR is £18500. what would be the effect of him going to furlough for 4 weeks?

As we all know that it is not in his hands but a government decision. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

In the first phase consession was made by HO where in furlough income in still taken as 100% income like pre-furlough period.
Once guidance comes out on the imminent lockdown and concessions to be made by HO for income/immigration financial threshold the information will be on here. Watch out

Temporary concessions in relation to wounded income over meeting the financial requirement is already extended until next year. See the last page of following guidance:
