ILR-no confirmation and news

Hi All ,
Hope somebody can advise .I submitted my application for ILR in October (4 months ago )-application was submitted online and went for appointment to do biometrics etc .Now on the date I just received a message that all documents were submitted to UKVI and if I have any questions to contact them .Since then -I did not receive any letters or any acknowledgment from UKVI that they received it and while they consider it I have the same rights as my previous visa (usual letter that they used to send before within normally 4-6 weeks after the application ).Tried to call them but can get any info as it is within 6 months so they don’t even transfer to the operator .I am getting worried that it somehow either was not received or was overlooked and therefore I did not receive a confirmation letter from them .Any advice on what to do or maybe somebody was in a similar situation before ?thanks!!

if it's the family or Long stay route then it may need another two months before you hear anything

It is a family route -as a spouse .All documents are in order so far I am aware .Also ,don’t they send any letters at least to confirm that I can stay and carry on being in UK while they are considering my case ?
My residence card expired so I sort of don’t have any document to prove my status and no letter from UKVI either to at least confirm that they have my documents on consideration.

Does this show your right to work is expired?

An employer can use this if they need to, if you have your UAN (Unique Application Number) for your application:
