Tier 2 to ILR

Hello,

I previously held another Tier 2 visa (code:2112) with a different employer from March 2017 to Feb 2021. Under a new employer from Feb 2021 to now I'm on a Tier 2 skilled worker (code:2119) and have a contract till February next year. I have fulfilled the 5 year stay requirement of indefinite leave to remain from a Tier 2 visa. I just have a few question if anyone can kindly give me some advice on:

1) Will my employer need to give me a longer contract to issue the letter of sponsorship?
2) My salary is £33800 and if I am under 2112 code, do I still need to meet the salary threshold? I don't think I
need to from my understanding.
3) Can I leave the UK (for holidays) after I have submitted my application?

Many thanks in advance. :)

Tier 2 route does not exist anymore as it was replaced by the Skilled Worker route.

1. Your employer must give you a letter that says you are needed for the foreseeable future
2. See: indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-minimum- ... l#p2027869
3. No. Your application will be automatically considered withdrawn
