ILR or visa extension for dependant spouse

My wife is planning to be out of the country for close to one year on personal work.
As it stands, she will be eligible for ILR in Jan 2024 on Tier-2 dependant route, I got ILR in 2021 on Skilled worker route.
What will be the implications of her choosing to be outside the UK for most of 2023, if she wouldn't be eligible for ILR in 2024 because of continuous residence and outside more than 180 days, under what category can her visa be applied for her to continue living in the UK in 2024 and beyond?
Her current visa is valid until July 2024.

Thanks

Her clock for ilr will reset and she will need another 5 years as a PBS dependent extension before she can apply for ILR.

Thanks is there any other route with a shorter time period requirement she'll be eligible for? Could she switch to the Family visa for instance?

Any other route also requires a new 5 year period. There is no shortcut route to ILR for dependents.
