I am T2 gen VISA holder with
UK Entry clearance stamped on 04-Jul-2018,
BRP end date is 03-Jun-2023
Eligible to apply on 07-Jun-2023 (5 years: 05-Jul-2023 minus 28 days)
I have 3 days of no VISA situation

1. Can I apply for ILR on 2-Jun (pay fee, submit docs) and schedule biometrics on or after 7-Jun-2023?
or
2. Apply for T2 Skilled visa extn (pay fee, submit docs) don't attend biometrics AND also Apply for ILR (pay fee, submit docs on 7-Jun-2023 and go for Biometrics?

3. In the second case will I get my T2 Skilled VISA fee+IHS refunded?

The date of entry is irrelevant. Apply early and delay the biometrics: indefinite-leave-to-remain/dependent-el ... l#p2072912

Thanks Zimba. So to be clear understanding

Can I apply on or before 2-Jun (my BRP expires on 3-Jun) and Delay biometrics until or after 7-Jun.

Also, by applying ILR means pay fee and submit documents right?

correct
couple of questions on the application
1. category is Skilled worker, Tier2 or International SportsPerson right?, as I can t see T2 General
2. Date when I first entered UK? it is 14-Jul-2018 , but my Entry clearance VISA vignette is 04-Jul-2018, so I mention 14-Jul-2018

ILR Application SET O Questions

Hi
These questions appears simple but sounds tricky so I better ask for advise

1. Select a category in which you are applying for indefinite leave to remain.

A. Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson - I hope this is the option to take for T2 Gen visa holders

2. Date you first entered the UK?

A. I entered on 14-Jul-2018, though my Entry clearance VISA vignette start date is 4-Jul-2018, so I mention 14-Jul-2018 hope this wont make 5 years calculation short?

3. Time spent outside the UK and Crown Dependencies

A. Yes for this ?even for holidays in last 5 years (never took more than 22 days each time, perhaps 9 times)

so far these are my questions, I will continue adding my questions in the thread in case if I get more

Topics merged. It is not necessary to start new topic with each question.

1. Correct, skilled worker is the one.

2. The question clearly asks the date you Entered. It is not asking the date initial visa was issued.

3. Yes, all absences.

You do not need to enter the gap between entry clearance date and entry to the UK. Home Office does know the rules!

hi

Can you help me with following documents asked for on SET O

Current Biometric Residence Permit for Mr. ABC
I have this, yes

Evidence of Mr ABC's immigration status in the UK
what is this? is it BRP again?

Your most recent payslip and bank or building society statement. These must be dated no earlier than one calendar month before the date of the application. The statement must show the payment, as shown on the payslip. You should not provide any additional payslips or statements, unless you are currently on maternity, paternity, shared parental or adoption leave.

sorry to be pedantic, just one pay slip (recent one right)? not last 3?

ILR SET(0) Documents

Hi, I've submitted my Set (O) application yesterday, and my paid biometrics appointment is on 15-Jun-2023, I also paid for document scanning

And following are the documents asked to be uploaded.

1. Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK and Crown Dependencies for Mr ABC

2. A document from the sponsor who issued the certificate of sponsorship that led to your last permission to stay as a Tier 2 migrant confirming that you are: still required for the employment in question for the foreseeable future, the nearest applicable SOC code, your current rate of pay, etc.

My HR gave a one page letter covering 1 &2, it is dated 31-May-2023, hope this is ok for 15-Jun-2023 document scanning and it is not old, or Should I ask my HR to re-issue closer to 15-June

3. Declaration signed by Mr ABC to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks

downloaded this and will do it

4. All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK

I have my passports (no national identity cards), hope this is fine

5. Current Biometric Residence Permit for Mr ABC

got this

6. Evidence of Mr ABC immigration status in the UK

I hope 5 is enough

7. Most recent payslip and bank or building society statement.

I applied yesterday, so as of yesterday I have may pay slip and may bank statement, showing may pay in, hope this is sufficient

Excuse me for a stupid question, better ask, I will. Document Scanning service during Biometrics I paid for , will scan and upload the documents above isn't it

Thanks

The date relevant to your supporting documents is the date you apply and pay online. Your biometric appointment has nothing to do with this and the date of your documents.
4. All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK

I have my passports (no national identity cards), hope this is fine
You do NOT need the identity card.
5. Current Biometric Residence Permit for Mr ABC

got this

6. Evidence of Mr ABC immigration status in the UK

I hope 5 is enough
Same thing. Some people do not have BRP cards, they have stickers in their passports!
7. Most recent payslip and bank or building society statement.

I applied yesterday, so as of yesterday I have may pay slip and may bank statement, showing may pay in, hope this is sufficient
That is all that is required.
Excuse me for a stupid question, better ask, I will. Document Scanning service during Biometrics I paid for , will scan and upload the documents above isn't it
Yes, that is what you paid for. A waste of money in many peoples view as you have no control that it will be done properly and everything will be scanned. Most people scan and upload themselves and even submit as they have control to make sure everything is there. Note that UKCVAS is a third party agent, they are not UKVI staff.

My apologies for starting new topic, I will stick to this thread and thanks for merging it.

Regarding document scanning service, if that is risky I will do it myself. I thought they charged £54, they do it perfect without issues. I dont want to take chance, just need to get hold of some good scanner to do it myself

Sorry for asking again, for my 1 & 2 documents required, my HR gave a one letter - I hope that is valid, otherwise I can ask my HR for 2 seperate. I checked the contents it is covering all required

One letter is fine.

You do not need to scan. You can take clear photos with a smart phone and upload them.

Or scan at work.

If you have digital copies of documents, simply upload the digital copies.

Hi
On SET(0) time lines thread, people inform that Decision Received
Does that actually says approved/rejected, rather than saying Decision Made?
Thanks
