IRL Application - Couple of question

Hi all

I've got a couple of question regarding my IRL Application i'm hoping you fine folks might be able to help me with.

For reference i arrived in October 2013 on a 5 year ancestry visa than renewed this in October 2018. I'm now going for IRL via Ancestry. None of my trips have made me go over the 180 day limit.

Q. Details of your time spent outside the UK and Crown Dependencies

Since arriving in 2013 I've done several trip where I've traveled through several different in Europe do i start a new form for each country i visited on that trip or do i put this in the note section? I'm also assuming that is every trip i have done and not the ones with the new visa that started in 2018?

Q. I've lost passport back in 2017 which contained the original visa in it. I've got photos of both of these and the reference number from the police. Will this cause an issue or not? when i renewed it i didn't have any problems but that was 5 years and things change

Thanks in advance

You only need to declare absences in the last 5 years, which is your qualifying period. The lost passport will cause no issues

Thanks for that, another question sorry with regards to my arrival date into the UK, since i would be claiming the time spent here under my renewed ancestry visa would i put down that my arrival date would be the date of that visa (17/10/18) or when i first arrived in the uk?

It does not matter which date you put on the form. Your eligibility is determined based on visa periods not what you put on the form
