ILR Calculating Period for Eligibility - Skilled Worker Visa

Hi tarunc,zimba,
I'm in a similar situation instead with
1) Approval Letter : 24/Nov/2018 to 16/Dec/2023
2) Visa vignette : 24/Nov/2018 to 24/Dec/2018
3) Entered UK on 01/12/2023
4) BRP : 15/Nov/2018 to 16/Dec/2023
Not sure which date I should use for ILR 28 days for application. Can you please help with?

Your approval letter should have one more date when your visa was approved. It's a single date when the visa was issued.
Date of Issue + 5years - 28 days.

Ask your own question in your thread instead of hijacking OP's.
The same advice given to OP applies to you. First ever date on any document indicating approval.

Hi tarunc,
In the approval letter I have my details followed by a date 06/Nov/2023. And then it says you will have permission to enter from 24/Nov/2023 to 16/Nov/2023.
So does this mean it starts from 06/Nov/2023 itself?

Yes, 06-Nov-2018 is the day when your visa was issued. Please correct me it's 2018 not 2023?
06-Nov-2018 plus 5 years minus 28 days = ILR Application time starts.

Apologies tarunc, it's a typo. Yes it's 06-Nov-2018.
Means I'm eligible even now, 06-Nov-2018 plus 5 years minus 28 days = 04-Oct-2023. I'm just waiting for Employee support letter and do it once done.
