Dear immigration board team and it's members,
Please could you help regarding this situation I have. My wife has been with me in the UK together since Nov 2018 and I'm about to apply for my ILR as I've been on Tier 2 General visa past 5 years. But she was initially on Tier 2 DEPENDANT for 2 years and then been on Tier 2 General for 3 years and ongoing. Even though it's Tier 2 visa but being changed from dependant to general will it not qualify for ILR? There's no source of information regarding this. Any information would be helpful
Kind regards
Saravana

She needs two more years on Skilled Worker (former Tier 2) as a main holder for ILR. Her dependent years cannot contribute to 5 years' ILR, as that's another visa category (PBS dependant).
