Hi All, I know its too early but wanted to know in advance. I switched from ICT dependent to Tier 2(now PBS) during covid time in the year 2020. HO rules allowed me to do In country switch even for Tier 2(usually not allowed) due to COVID reasons. These are my dates

Date of Arraival to UK with ICT dependent - 22 Feb 2018 (Not relavent for eligibilty but just to mention)
Tier 2 Application Date (from ICT dependent - In country switch) - 14 Jul 2020
Tier 2 Decision Date - 15 Aug 2020
Tier 2 BRP issue date - 18 Aug 2020

What is the earliest date i can apply ILR in 2025?

Five years after the grant of Tier 2 (General) status, minus 28 days.

The date of application is irrelevant. An immigration application extends the same terms and conditions as of the previous visa, if the application was made in-time.

Given that the difference between Tier 2 General decision date and Tier 2 General BRP date is minimal (only 3 days), I suggest that you go with the latter+five years-28 days.

Thank you so much for your response. In such case I am eligible to from on 22 July 2025. My current COS is valid till 30 July 2025. Is it required to extend my COS till I get ILR decision if the application extends the same terms and conditions as of the previous visa?

No, just make sure an.in time application is made.
