I need a help understanding a situation.

Can you please help here?

Me, my wife and kid are on ILR.

We are expecting our second Baby. my wife wants to go to India for delivery.

How can I bring the child to the UK after the birth if the baby is born in India

Do I need to apply ILR dependant visa and bring the baby back to UK and apply for ILR.

Any insight is helpful.

Please feel free move the thread to different section, if this is not right one.

PS: We are not opting for British Passport for now, as we indent to go back to India after some years.

The child will qualify for settled status directly. You apply for Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE) for the child from India
