ILR Calculating Period for Eligibility - Skilled Worker Visa

Dear IB Admin and Moderators,
Currently, I am on Skilled Worker Visa and before current visa I had Tier 2 General Work Visa.
It is not clear to me from which date the 5 years timeline will be calculated for ILR eligibility.
1.) Applied Tier 2 General Visa from India and received Visa Vignette and UKVI letter. The UKVI letter mentions
12-Nov-2018 is the date when my visa application has been approved by UKVI.
2.) The Visa vignette valid from
19-Dec-2018 to
18-Jan-2019.
3.) I entered the UK on
20-Dec-2018.
4.) The BRP valid from
05-Dec-2018.
Also, in ILR Set(O) application, following question is causing the confusion that Home Office will calculate 5 years from 20-Dec-2018 - appears from the below question.
Date you first entered the UK
When did you first enter the UK?
(Required)
This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started.
20-Dec-2018
I wanted to know from which date, as mentioned above, I should calculate the 28 days earlier.
Looking forward for the reply from Zimba, CR001 and other moderators.
Please help me!
Kind Regards,
Tarun

Use the very first visa
approval date. The date you put on the form has NO effect on your eligibility. The date you entered the UK is irrelevant. Eligibility is determined based on the continuous visa period held. That question is not important
Very first visa approval date + 5 years - 28 days = The earliest date you are eligible for ILR

Hi Zimba, Sorry to ask the same question but this time with UKVI letter snapshot shared at below link.
So It is the 12-Nov-2018 in this letter, is the date, I should count 5 years minus 28 days for ILR eligibility.
