Hi hi,
Please i will need help with calculating my Qualifying Date for ILR Application.
I have been reading through different scenarios and cases here but can't find one like mine..
My case with timeline is somewhat interesting
BRP date: Sept 2019
Visa Vignette date: Sept 2019
Arrival in UK: Oct 2019
FLR M Spousal visa renewal online application: June 2022
Successful email confirmation from Home Office for the FLR M Spousal visa renewal online application: March 2023 (There was a major delay with the whole backlog and it took almost 9months to get a response from Home Office)
Granted permission to stay in the UK by Home Office until: Sept 2025 (which is 30months from March 2023)
This means I would have been 5years 11months ish by Sept 2025 with about 80 days out of the UK
All BRPs are phased out by 31st Dec 2024 and everyone will use the eVisa/online share code feature
So do i wait till 28days from Sept 2025 for ILR application?
Or i can apply earlier once I have 5years (and maybe 3 months extra due to 80days out of the UK)?
When can i apply for ILR?

Your earliest date of ILR eligibility is the date of arrival in the UK + 5 years - 28 days. That is the point that you can be granted ILR. Your current visa expiry is irrelevant. The fact that you have absences from the UK is also irrelevant.

Thanks for the quick response zimba
I actually just assumed i have to wait till 28days before Sept 2025.. this is great news
I will plan to apply for ILR by the 2nd week of Oct 2024 as i'm in no hurry and I want to ensure all bank statements, salary payslips, etc are in for the previous month of Sept 2024.
Thanks for all the positive impact you've had on people's lives ... seen your responses in a lot of posts i have read here..
Please i have more questions:
1. Do i need to get a letter from my employer to confirm that the days i'm out of the UK were during my annual leave/PTO from work?
2. Mortgage statement: I hear mortgage statements are annual and I don't currently have any mortgage statements as i only just got a mortgage. What document can i use to prove accommodation requirements?
Mortgage First Payment Notice letter from the mortgage lender Or the Completion letter from solicitor?
Or request for a statement from my mortgage lender?
3. Is Life in the UK test an online test or i have to physically go to a test center?
Thanks for anticipated responses.

1. There is no such requirement. The family route does not even have any absence limits.
Please read the official guide and learn what you need to send depending on the category you are applying under.
Guide:
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... rement.pdf
2. There is no specific requirement:
The applicant should provide evidence as to the basis on which the accommodation
is or will be owned or occupied (including rented) by the family unit. This may for
example be in the form of a copy of the property deeds, a letter from a bank or
building society as to the mortgage arrangements, a lease agreement and rent book,
or a letter from a family member or friend who is making the accommodation
available to the applicant and their family unit.
3. You need to sit the LIUK test at a test centre
