I have been on a tier 2 visa since 2019 and will be eligible to apply for ILR . My current BRP expires on 20th August and my current employment finishes on the 6th of August. I have a permanent job lined up starting in September. I need to travel to India in the end of July and hope to apply on my return on the 17th of August.
My questions are
Will the fact that my employment is completed prevent me from getting ILR. My employer from September has provided me a letter stating my appointment ans my current COS mentions that my end date is 6th of August.
Has anyone had any recent experience with super priority applications ? Is it a feasible option to obtain appointments and get a result back ?

Has anyone had a similar experience

Thank you for your response. I am in a training post and coming to the end of my training period
I have asked if my employer can add the clause tbat i will be eligible to work as a consultant and will be needed in that job for the foreseeable future
Should I not travel to India and try and apply before my current employment finishes or does the fact that my brp is still valid negate that requirement

You can apply as long as your are in the UK and have valid visa

Thanks for your reply. By the time I apply I will no longer be in employment. Is that an issue? My visa will be still valid at the time of application.

I noticed that you did not understand what the foreseeable future means. The rules require your current sponsor to want you for the foreseeable future. If you are changing sponsors, you must apply and secure a new skilled worker visa first and then apply for ILR after a month.

However, If you are not changing sponsors then you may not face issues similar to this case: viewtopic.php?t=347603#p2170050
