Hi dear mods
I am a depandant child of a skilled worker, who is over 18 years old and I got the visa before I turn 18. My mom got the visa at the same time with me and my dad. We all dependant to my dad. My mum came to the country after a year later so she lost 1 year for ilr. Me and my dad can apply for ilr now because we spent 5 years. Me as a over 18 years old dependant child do I need to wait my mum to be eligible for ilr or since my dad is eligible can I apply to ilr as well? I am not living independent life.
Thanks

The dependant children do NOT have any residence requirement and they will only settle when both parents do. So you will follow the same immigration path as your less privileged parent (your mother) and can settle alongside her. You should apply using a separate SET(O) form when the time comes as you are over 18. You also must meet the LIUK and the English language requirements

Thanks and also can i extend my dependant visa since my dad has ilr but he quit his job? And if my mum wont settle i cant settle either (but still i can extend my visa for multiple times because my dad has ilr and i guess can apply ilr after 10 years residency even if i live an independant life away from my family) is that right?

Correct. You can extend your visa and settle independently under the long residence route
