				ILR Set (M) two questions

				Hi everyone,
Great forum and very helpful.
I have two quick questions re ILR Set (M), please.
1- Do documents, particularly financial ones, have to be no older than 28 days?
2- We are applying for ILR in October, 28 days prior to date of entry using the priority service (5 working days). Would it be possible to apply for BC immediately after being granted ILR, or would we need to wait until the full 5-year anniversary of the entry into the UK? spouse is a BC for context.
Thank you

There is no 5 day priority service for Set M applications. You only have the option of standard or super priority.

I did not know that, thanks. HO is cleaning up rather well. We are in E.Yorkshire. What is the nearest centre?
Also, what about Q2. Do we wait to complete the 5 years for BC?

5 day priority has never been available for SET M, so unsure what exactly you mean.
You will need to find your nearest centre on the TLS website or Google.
Please ask your British citizenship questions in the British citizenship sub forum. These questions are not relevant to the ILR sub forum.

Thanks Admin. I did not even know I have to use TLS to get priority/superpriority service. Just knowing I have to deal with TLS made me change my mind about going premium service.

Super priority is a UKVI service. It has nothing to do with the the biometric appointment at a third party agency for fingerprints, photo and identity check.

There was 5 days priority service fee offered to me when i filed for my wife's and daughter's visa. I believe it was £500 each, however I didn't buy it. Also refer to this post, they also managed to get priority service.

Only super priority (not 5 day priority) is available for SET M as clearly stated on the ukvi website.

The topic you quoted paid for SUPER PRIORITY!

It is all confusing. I am still non the wiser about the 28 days rule for ILR Set (M). Is it 28 days from entry or 28 days from the first visa (vignette) ?

Spouse visa residence starts counting from date of entry to the uk.
So date of entry plus 5 years minus 28 days is rhe EARLIEST to apply.
