From now i have a year time to apply for ILR application, i have few thing to clarify, before starting doing all paper work, im applying ILR in 5 years route with dependant son (9 year) , i have been in this country for nearly 8 year.
1 Financial requirement
How much do have to show my earnings to qualify in 5 yrs route, Flr (m) visa got approved in 2021 and extention got approved 2024,
2 the problem what i have rightnow i always showed my husband income in all my previous applications but recently he got redundant from his job,, what are the option i have now ?
3. if i go with 16000 plus saving option how does this works, Do i have to 16000 in my own Account for a year or i just need to show them that i have 16000 plus in my account before i submit my Ilr application, im applying with my dependant son , exactly how much do i have show for both application.

1. If you are applying with a child dependant, the min income required is £22,400 per year under category A or B.

2. You can either use your own income or cash savings. This is assuming he cannot get a job by the time you are applying for ILR

3. You can use a value equal or greater than (cash saving amount - £16,000) towards your ILR. In your case, the min cash saving amount is £38,400 ( £38,400 - £16,000 = £22,400 which is the min value needed for you and your child)

Savings must be held in cash in a personal bank / savings account in the name of the applicant, their partner or the couple jointly where that balance should be held for at least 6 months.

You can read the official guide as it has all the information you need: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... nt__1_.pdf
