Will losing my job after submitting my ILR (SET(O)) application affect the outcome?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) under the Skilled Worker (SET(O)) route using the standard service, so I expect the decision may take around 3 to 4 months.

I’m due to go on maternity leave from the first week of December, and there have recently been some layoffs in my company. I’m a bit worried about the worst-case scenario — if I happen to lose my job after submitting my ILR application but before receiving a decision, could this negatively affect my ILR outcome?

Any insights or experiences with similar situations would be really helpful. Thank you!
