ILR (SET(P)) Application Delayed

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well. My family and I applied for Indefinite Leave to Remain (SET(P)) under the standard service on 25 March 2025. It has now been over seven months, and we still have not received any decision or update from the Home Office.

We understand that processing times can vary, but we are concerned that our application seems to be taking much longer than expected. Our local MP has contacted the Home Office on our behalf, but we have not received any response yet.

I wanted to ask:
1. Has anyone else here recently applied for ILR (SET(P)) and experienced long delays?
2. Are ILR decisions currently taking longer than usual?
3. Have there been any known slowdowns, backlogs, or pauses in processing these types of applications recently?
4. If your application was delayed for more than 6 months, how long did it take in total before you received a decision?

Any advice in my situation?

Thank you in advance.

Each application is unique and is decided within its own time frame. There are not many that will be applying under this route but note that protection route applications are often complex and can take a long time to be decided.

Since I applied the Home Office paused the ILR applications for the Syrian nationals for about 3 months, do i count these within the 7 months that i waited? Or this period is not counted?
