Hi, I am applying for ILR via the SET(O) route as a Skilled Worker Dependent. I arrived in the UK in 2020. My husband (the main applicant) was granted ILR via the 5-year Skilled Worker route in 2024. I am still on my last dependent visa and became eligible for ILR in September 2025.

While filling out the SET(O) form, I noticed there isn't a specific category to indicate that my sponsor has already been granted ILR. Under the question regarding 'his current visa status,' the options are 'Skilled Worker,' 'Tier 2,' etc. I selected 'Skilled Worker' since that was the route he was on before obtaining settlement.

The form then asks for a VAF or GWF number. I provided the 16-digit Unique Application Number (UAN) from his successful ILR application in this field, as it was the only reference number I had that fit the character limit.

Am I on the right application form? Is it acceptable to provide his ILR UAN in the VAF/GWF field?

Your ILR will be based on your spouse's previous status. The SET(O) form is correct. You are NOT required to provide any of VAF/GWF at all
