Thank you very much for your quick reply. Also suggest me how can i cancel/withdraw of my SET M application. I have submitted/paid but not booked an appointment and cannot find cancel/withdraw option in the form at the last step.
Regrads,
Sriram.

Thank you very much for your quick response. I just tried the same but at the end its asking the declaration like below as am not done any booking for an appointment as am eligible to refund but its same the fee may not be refunded where am worried about. Kindly suggest
Declaration
I understand that:
if I cancel an application, the fee may not be refunded
if I cancel my application, this will also cancel the applications for my dependants
if I ask for documents back, the request may take longer to process
I understand and agree to this declaration

You should be eligible for a refund of the fee paid if the biometrics have not yet been provided.
No need to worry. I used that form a few times.
Be aware that the refund is not immediate, it takes time.

I have tried to fill SET-O for both(wife and daughter), but part of documentation they only mentioned my consent form, all passport/brp's and their visa status no address/finance related proofs like my bank statements or pay slips and tenancy/council tax like that. could you please suggest me why only few documents list and even can i add all those additially, any issues if i add as many as i have. also how many days it takes for normal process(apart from priority/super priority)

There is no finical requirement at all. Consent form part one is signed by the applicant and part 2 is signed by you.
For cohabitation docs see -->
All you need to know about cohabitation evidence

BritishCitizenship - My Son's application is in progress and current VISA expires soon

Hi Experts,
My Son was born in the UK and we submitted his MN1 British citizenship application. His Biometrics were completed on 27 April 2026, and the application is currently in progress. However, his current visa under the Work Permit route expires on 28th Jun 2026. has anyone experienced a similar situation?. Do we need to extend his visa while in MN1 application is pending, or can we simply wait for the citizenship decision? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Such a child does not need a visa or ILR and their visa status is irrelevant while applying for an application under nationality law. This is because the child's entitlement under nationality law remains unchanged and their immigration status is totally irrelevant.
UK born children will not have any issues, even if they overstay. A minor issue could be losing access to the NHS for a short period of time (after visa expiry) until the child is registered as British.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I missed one point here is, I have submitted his MN1 Application with my ILR settled status and later my wife also got the ILR. After I got ILR then I have submitted his MN1 application . Is there any difference

No there is not. The moment
one parent is settled, then the child has an entitlement to be registered.

Thank you once again, So I no need to extend his current visa expires on 28.06.2026 while in MN1 Application in progress and wait for his decision as it’s taking time it seems which we submitted on 27.04.2026.
